AROUND MOJACAR

There are 6 golf courses within 10 - 40 minutes of the apartments . There is also horse riding, stables are just 5 minutes away, water sports, aqua park, gokarting and markets, and if its restaurants and bars you want then theres enough to try one a night for a year,

There are also 3 bowls clubs available to play at. 

Mojácar is situated in the south east of the Province of Almería (Andalucia) in southern Spain, bordering the Mediterranean Sea;
Mojácar has more than 3000 hours of sun per year. The medium yearly temperature is around 20 °C. Winter is practically nonexistent, it passes as a long autumn or spring, with the marine temperature higher than the air temperature.
Fiestas
Fiestas are important in Spain, and tend to be very participative. The most important in Mojácar are:

Moors and Christians: the nearest weekend to the 10th of June.
San Agustín: Agustín is the male patron saint of Mojácar. This fiesta falls on 28 August.
Romería de San Isidro: 15 May.
San Juan Hogueras: (Bonfires of Saint John) 24 July.
Virgen del Rosario: Rosario is the "patrona" or secondary patron saint of Mojácar. This fiesta falls on October 7th
The cuisine of the beach area of Mojacar Playa is increasingly becoming more international with high quality restaurants serving English, French, Mexican and Argentine food to name just a few. As well as this there are many late opening beach bars or chiringuitos serving quality food and dring until the early hours. Mojacar Playa is becoming an increasingly popular and sophisticated resort.

One of the best golf courses in the area

MARINA GOLF:

18 Holes par 72

Not far from the playa and split into 2 sets of 9 holes  by the marina torre

CORTIJO GRANDE:

9 HOLES

May only be 9 holes but with 2 different tees on each hole to make 18 ,one of the cheaper courses at the moment but one of the prettiest with all the lemon and orange groves in play.
